KBD polyurethane products are known for their durability and flexibility but still require professional installation. While some drilling of mounting holes and trimming may be necessary, additional polyurethane is not needed for installation. Due to the nature of the material and manufacturing process, KBD products are not “direct bolt-on” parts and may require some preparation, including sanding, cutting, shaving, and filling gaps to ensure proper fitment. For safety and the best results, installation by an experienced custom shop is strongly recommended.
Please note that KBD products are designed exclusively for off-road and show use. Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these products are not street legal. It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with all local laws and regulations regarding the use of aftermarket parts on public roads or highways.
