Why choose Vaero for your Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Vaero, a premium styling brand from Extreme Dimensions, produces aero body kits and styling components built from OE-style materials — primarily polyurethane and fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), with select pieces produced in ABS or carbon fiber depending on the application. Combining durable material construction, precision fitment, and bold European and JDM-inspired designs, Vaero products offer car enthusiasts a refined option for customizing their Mercedes-Benz C-Class. These components, including front and rear bumpers for Mercedes-Benz C-Class, side skirts for Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and rear valances for Mercedes-Benz C-Class, are crafted to enhance your vehicle's appearance and aerodynamics. With a wide range of designs available for popular vehicle makes and models, Vaero components deliver a custom, show-quality look that stands out on the road or at any event.

For the best results, professional installation is recommended for all Vaero products. While some fitment adjustments may be necessary, the use of OE-style materials — flexible, impact-resistant polyurethane for most parts, with FRP, ABS, or carbon fiber where the application calls for it — makes Vaero body kits an excellent choice for enthusiasts looking to enhance their Mercedes-Benz C-Class with parts that hold up to daily driving. Each Vaero product goes through a stringent quality control process and arrives in a primer-ready finish, offering excellent value for money and the potential for a truly customized vehicle aesthetic.

It's important to note that minor sanding, prep work, and test fitment may be required during installation to ensure flawless paint adhesion and seamless body alignment. Additionally, all parts should be dry fitted before mounting holes are drilled or final paint is applied. These steps ensure proper fitment and alignment, maximizing the overall appearance and functionality of the Vaero products on your Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

FAQ

What size box do these bumpers usually fit in?

The average front or rear bumper ships in a box measuring 79 x 23 x 41 inches and weighing about 20–30 lbs. Some vehicles, including certain SUVs, as well as more aggressive or oversized bumper styles, may require custom, larger boxes.

Why does the hood require hood pins?

Aftermarket FRP and carbon fiber hoods require auxiliary hood pins because composite material expands, contracts, and flexes differently than OEM metal. Over time, this can shift latch alignment, and at highway speeds the reduced weight of a composite hood combined with aerodynamic lift creates upward force on the leading edge. Hood pins provide a mandatory secondary safety measure that eliminates the single point of failure.

Why Aerocatch? Aerocatch latches are the industry standard because they sit nearly flush with the hood surface — no protruding pin shafts. They use a spring-loaded, quarter-turn locking mechanism that clicks into a detented, closed position, giving both visual and tactile confirmation that the hood is secure. Unlike traditional hood pins, there is no separate R-clip or lanyard to lose, and the integrated assembly is available in finishes that blend cleanly into painted or carbon-fiber hoods. Originally proven in FIA-sanctioned racing series, they carry motorsport-grade reliability onto street-driven builds.

Hood pins are typically installed at the leading edge of the hood, approximately 6–8 inches inward from each headlight corner, with a solid backing plate on the underside. Never install through unsupported laminate. Professional paint and body shop installation is strongly recommended; mount all hardware before painting to ensure proper alignment and sealant application.

When reading the product description for one of the hood designs for an BMW F32, it says “Prep Work is Required” What do you mean by this?

Fiberglass parts always require prep work before they can be primed and painted. This product is made with fiberglass material; therefore, it will exhibit chips, breaks, cracks, waves, scratches and holes which require modification. It is necessary to dry fit and drill mounting holes and perform body work before painting. Cutting and adding fiberglass may be required for proper fitment. Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Primer finished. Hand layup is the manufacturing process used for the majority of our fiberglass parts. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
