VSaero, a respected manufacturer of aftermarket aero parts, has built its reputation on hand-laid fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) body kits that capture aggressive JDM-inspired styling. Combining lightweight construction, strength, and a wide variety of popular designs, VSaero products offer car enthusiasts a superior option for customizing their Nissan 240SX. These components, including front and rear bumpers for Nissan 240SX, side skirts for Nissan 240SX, and wide body fender flares for Nissan 240SX, are crafted to enhance your vehicle's appearance and aerodynamic performance. With a wide range of designs available for various vehicle makes and models, VSaero components ensure a custom, track-ready look that stands out on the road or at any show.
For the best results, professional installation is recommended for all VSaero products. While some fitment adjustments may be necessary, the use of FRP fiberglass allows VSaero to form aggressive styles of various sizes and shapes while still retaining a large degree of strength, making their kits an excellent choice for automotive enthusiasts looking to enhance their Nissan 240SX without breaking the bank. Each VSaero product is finished in primer-ready FRP, offering excellent value for money and the potential for a truly customized vehicle aesthetic.
It's important to note that cutting, sanding, and adding fiberglass may be required during installation. Additionally, all parts should be dry fitted before mounting holes are drilled or final paint is applied. These steps ensure proper fitment and alignment, maximizing the overall appearance and functionality of the VSaero products on your Nissan 240SX.

VSAero fenders and fender flares are aftermarket accessories specifically designed for track, show, and off-road use. These components are not intended for public road use, and VSAero disclaims any responsibility for damage, injury, or loss resulting from their use. Due to the nature of fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, VSAero fenders and fender flares are not “direct bolt-on” parts and often require significant preparation, such as trimming, cutting, sanding, fitting, or adding fiberglass. Installation may involve custom bodywork, and common issues like warping or fitment challenges can occur if not installed properly.
Fender Flares
VSAero fender flares are designed to extend the wheel arch for a more aggressive stance, often complementing the style of a complete body kit. Depending on the style, some fender flares may need to be attached using rivet nuts with a rubber gasket between the flare and the original fender, neither of which is included. Additionally, more aggressive flares may require cutting and rolling of the original fender to allow for greater wheel clearance and a lower stance. Due to the nature of fiberglass, adjustments during installation are common, and care must be taken to ensure proper alignment and fitment to avoid gaps or uneven surfaces.
Fenders
VSAero fenders offer an aesthetic upgrade, giving vehicles a sleeker and more customized appearance. These lightweight fiberglass replacements often require additional fiberglass reinforcement around the A-pillar and the fender mounting flange for durability and a secure fit. Trimming and reshaping the fender may be necessary to align with the vehicle’s mounting points. Modifications to factory components, such as removing fender liners or adjusting brackets, may be required to ensure proper installation.
For best results, VSAero recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in working with fiberglass. Traditional auto repair shops may lack the necessary expertise for proper trimming, cutting, or modifying fiberglass components.
VSAero fenders and fender flares are strictly for track, show, or off-road use. Due to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, most VSAero fenders and fender flares are not street legal. VSAero does not endorse or recommend using these products on public roads or highways.

Aftermarket FRP and carbon fiber hoods require auxiliary hood pins because composite material expands, contracts, and flexes differently than OEM metal. Over time, this can shift latch alignment, and at highway speeds the reduced weight of a composite hood combined with aerodynamic lift creates upward force on the leading edge. Hood pins provide a mandatory secondary safety measure that eliminates the single point of failure.
Why Aerocatch? Aerocatch latches are the industry standard because they sit nearly flush with the hood surface — no protruding pin shafts. They use a spring-loaded, quarter-turn locking mechanism that clicks into a detented, closed position, giving both visual and tactile confirmation that the hood is secure. Unlike traditional hood pins, there is no separate R-clip or lanyard to lose, and the integrated assembly is available in finishes that blend cleanly into painted or carbon-fiber hoods. Originally proven in FIA-sanctioned racing series, they carry motorsport-grade reliability onto street-driven builds.
Hood pins are typically installed at the leading edge of the hood, approximately 6–8 inches inward from each headlight corner, with a solid backing plate on the underside. Never install through unsupported laminate. Professional paint and body shop installation is strongly recommended; mount all hardware before painting to ensure proper alignment and sealant application.
Fiberglass parts always require prep work before they can be primed and painted. This product is made with fiberglass material; therefore, it will exhibit chips, breaks, cracks, waves, scratches and holes which require modification. It is necessary to dry fit and drill mounting holes and perform body work before painting. Cutting and adding fiberglass may be required for proper fitment. Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Primer finished. Hand layup is the manufacturing process used for the majority of our fiberglass parts. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
